Bearcats Boom a Best

Four-time
Lambda Literary Award nominee Randy Boyd is now five-time Lambda Literary Award nominee Randy Boyd. Walt Loves the Bearcat,
his latest novel, was honored as a finalist for the 2006 Lammys.
Randy’s
three previous novels received a total of four Lammy nominations. This time, the Bearcats were a finalist in the Best Romance
category.
“I’m
thrilled to know the streak is still alive,” joked Boyd. “To borrow a baseball analogy, I feel like I’ve
gone four-for-four with five ribbies. But seriously, I’m always grateful and flattered when my work and my dreams are
appreciated. I’m always and forever grateful.”
At the 18th
annual presentation of the Lambda Literary Foundation’s awards in Washington DC, Silent Thunder by Radclyffe received the Best Romance Award.
"Still
very proud of my Bearcats," said Boyd. "And my future grandkids, aka the Bearcat Boyz."
